Warranty & Service:
What’s Covered
Your SideHaus ADU is protected by a 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty provided by KIT HomeBuilders West. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for one year after delivery to the original homeowner, with repairs or replacements performed at your home site.
What’s Not Covered
Appliances and fixtures such as the water heater, refrigerator, washer, dryer, stove, and furnace are not included under this warranty, as they each carry their own manufacturer coverage. The warranty also does not extend to normal wear and tear, cosmetic imperfections, or damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or lack of maintenance. Homes used for commercial or rental purposes are excluded as well.
Ongoing Care
Like any home, routine care and maintenance are required and remain the responsibility of the homeowner, including items such as roof upkeep, caulking, plumbing, and door adjustments.
